Katy Perry has made quite an impression this year.

Voted no.5 in Most Iconic Outfits of 2010, it’s her vast collection of girly latex dresses which have made Barbie green with envy, and kept us all thoroughly entertained.

Every day is like Christmas in Katy’s closet, and she certainly doesn’t need an excuse to play dress-up. Caught up in festive spirit earlier this month she performed in an ultra short, but comparatively conventional, Miss Santa outfit for the Jingle Bell Ball in Miami.

And this will be her first Christmas with Brand new husband, Russell. Speaking to Grazia she said,

“There will be me and Russ and a pink Christmas tree and a tofu-urky. We’ll open one present the night before because that’s the tradition in my family. And we’ll do something new. We’ll start our own tradition because we are a family now.”

She’s not about to stop there either; and is very open about wanting to have kids,

“I don’t want to miss out on any experience. I want lots of children. It’s all very possible.”

Could this signal the demise of her form-fitting, skimpy outfits in favour of something a little more practical? It seems unlikely, “I never wear sweats. Ever.”

Katy is grateful for her chart success this year, well aware of her privileged position; she wants to give something back to society. She told JustJared, “… sometimes I feel like I have too much…I seriously have all these wonderful things and I need to give them away because some of them don’t fit me!”

Sounds like quite a clear-out! Which KP outfit would you want to find under your tree?
