Thanks to her meteoric rise to fame over the last three years, Lady Gaga is widely recognised as one of the biggest stars on the planet.
But despite the superstardom of the Poker Face singer, we were still a little shocked to discover that today eight (yes, eight!) waxworks had been unveiled at Madame Tussauds’ all over the world.
‘The demand to include Lady Gaga has been overwhelming and we are more than happy to oblige,’ commented Madame Tussauds London’s General Manager, Edward Fuller.
The London figure is dressed in a quirky Armani suit, with the Philip Treacy-designed Telephone hat included, that Gaga wore earlier in the year in an appearance on Jonathon Ross’ BBC One chat show.
As well as her waxy immortalisation in London, she’s featured in Tussauds’ branches in New York, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Amsterdam, Berlin, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
So that’s our next day off sorted then; straight to Madame Tussauds to hang out with Gaga. Because we’re cool.
