Katie Waissel’s gobsmacked face graces the front pages of many newspapers today as she controversially survived yet another sing-off in last night’s X Factor.

And she’s not the only one in shock. We’re also rather surprised that after the judges’ votes went to deadlock it was revealed that Aiden Grimshaw received the fewest public votes and so would be leaving the competition.

A previous bookies’ favourite, Aiden’s rendition of the Elton John classic ‘Rocket Man’ on Saturday night seemingly did little impress you, the voting public. We’re sorry to see him go!

Katie has now been in the bottom two on four occasions, each time narrowly escaping going home. But how long more can she last? More importantly, how long more can Wagner last? Seriously, who is voting for him?!….
