I am back from Lexington, Kentucky and it was a fine weekend of fiber and animals and hot weather. I had a terrific time and I want to share a bit of the weekend with you here. Above is Luna having her bottle break. Luna belongs to my host, Dianne, who had a booth with her homegrown sheep, roving, yarns and knit goodies on sale. Boy, does she ever work hard. Thanks to Dianne for inviting me and making my stay such a comfortable one. You are a gracious and kind host.

I taught a busy and big class on Saturday morning to a group of enthusiastic Spud & Chloë at the Farm knitters.

Outfit: Client Launch


  • I wore this, last week, while I was at the Client Launch, for their new collection (followed by pizza). The launch was held in this really cool lingerie store near Old Street, called Bordello, and they had some really interesting stuff.

    I wore this beautiful dress, which was gifted by Mina. Mina is definitely becoming one of my brands. All the dresses are so gorgeous and are great quality.


    I love how the colors all go so well together in the dress and how well it fits.

“My collection includes skillful combinations of fine embroidery and interesting drapes. It has unique and elaborate crystal work, especially designed for the Indian bride,” says Lalit.

Terming his collection as a fusion of Indian and western sensibilities, Lalit says, “The entire range comprising lehengas and saris has intricate embroidery, which adds a touch of royalty and glamour.”

According to Lalit, his main attempt is to popularise Indian culture through his clothes. “I want to find a new expression for India through my collection. There is a lot of grace in Indian culture and my aim is to make it contemporary and approachable,” he said. Read more…

Welcome aboard!

Today is regatta day! Wind is blowing, the cloudy weather is interrupted by few sunny spells, the weather is ideal for a trip out to sea. Coffee on the run reading the daily news in a portside bar, and we are heading toward our vehicle moored just a few steps away. Few minutes remaining, enjoy some thin sunbeams through the clouds in the nearest square. The Captain now embarks in his 20s two-masted ship, gives his latest instructions to the crew and then checks that everything is finally set up. Passengers are arriving to the boat, notables like workers, tempted by sailing across the Atlantic.
